Morrison Funeral Chapel was originally founded by Harley and Helen Morrison in 1935. It was initially located in an old Victorian home on Main Street in St. Helena, California. In 1939 the funeral home’s property was purchased to become the new home of St. Helena’s post office. The Morrison family then purchased the former Ward’s Mortuary building across the street at 1432 Main Street. Their son, Harold, managed the mortuary from 1967 until selling the business in 1991.We continue to strive to bring honor to the Morrison family name.
The mortuary is now situated in the heart of the beautiful Napa Valley in historic St. Helena at 975 Vintage Street. Morrison Funeral Chapel has been an important part of the upper Napa Valley community for more than 75 years. Morrison Funeral Chapel provides a beautiful and quiet setting to honor the memory of your loved one.
